OFFICE MANAGER

Job Description and Responsibilities

Rojas AP is seeking to hire a part-time Office Manager to join our team in Jamaica, Queens. This role will support day-to-day operations, streamline internal workflows, and help maintain consistent administrative support across the firm. As a dynamic architecture and planning firm, we manage a wide range of projects that require strong internal coordination and organization.

Your role will be instrumental in helping our team stay organized, on schedule, and connected—particularly through the use of tools like Monday.com and Quickbooks. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-directed, mid-level professional with strong administrative and systems experience who is looking to support meaningful, community-focused design work.

Although this is not a client-facing role, you will be collaborating closely with the principal and project managers. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys improving systems, anticipating needs, and keeping operations running smoothly.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience in office management, operations, or administrative support

  • Experience with Monday.com or similar project/task management platforms

  • Familiarity with invoicing and basic bookkeeping processes

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Calendar, etc.)

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a small business or professional services firm (architecture, design, or planning preferred)

  • Familiarity with QuickBooks, FreshBooks, or similar

  • Comfort coordinating vendors, supplies, and internal systems

  • Bilingual


Compensation & Schedule

  • $30-$40 per hour based on experience

  • 14 hours per week, in office

  • Predictable work schedule and flexibility (to be coordinated with the principal)
