The award recognizes Gowanus by Design’s longstanding commitment to community-centered design, local arts, and collaborative planning within the Gowanus community.

Light Up the World – Lewis Latimer House Museum

The Lewis Latimer House Museum was recognized as a 2026 STA 100 winning project by the Society of Typographic Arts. Rojas AP served as the Renovation Architect for the permanent exhibition, which combines architecture, exhibition design, and storytelling to honor Lewis H. Latimer’s legacy and create an accessible environment for learning and community engagement.

Light Up the World – Lewis Latimer House Museum

Rojas AP received an Award for Excellence from the Greater Hudson Heritage Network for its work on the Light Up the World exhibit at the Lewis Latimer House Museum. The project celebrates Lewis Latimer’s life, legacy, and contributions through an engaging and accessible exhibition experience.
