TENANT PROTECTION PLAn

Rojas AP was hired to complete a Tenant Protection Plan (TPP) for the general contractor performing an interior renovation to a unit of a high-rise building in Battery Park City. The TPP is required to be filed by a licensed design professional when tenants will remain in the building during construction. In order for the contractor to pull their work permit the TPP needs to be approved first with the NYC Department of Buildings. Rojas AP coordinated with the contractor to prepare a written Tenant Protection Plan on the DOB NOW Portal based on job specific measures that would be implemented by the contractor during construction to ensure the safety of the tenants during construction. Rojas AP uses Monday.com to keep track of all relevant data. Rojas AP also coordinated with the architect of record and building management to get building and job related information required for the TPP. Rojas AP was able to secure approval in a timely manner and the contractor was then able to pull the work permit and begin construction.
